But once a project involves a load-bearing wall, a chimney, or anything structural, that's a different job, and not because of the debris, because the building itself can come down wrong. Same goes for anything where asbestos or lead paint is a real possibility. Testing and safe removal of those materials is not a do-it-yourself afternoon. It requires someone trained to handle it and dispose of it through the right channels, and cutting that corner is the kind of decision that causes problems years down the road, not days.
